#100DaysOfBulletJournalIdeas: 2 - The Intention Wheel: A new kind of tracker for your Bullet Journal.
/Welcome to Day 2 of my #100DaysofBulletJournalIdeas!
Day 2: The Intention Wheel.
Today I'm excited to present officially on the blog: The Intention Wheel!
I like the sound of Habit Wheel, Circular Tracker, and Tracker Wheel, but I feel like Intention Wheel is another fun way to put it because it's not just about tracking things or focusing on habits...there's more going on behind the scenes, there's intention with improving your life through tracking and habit formation. It's all of it, and I think the word intention does a great job of bringing that all together in one simple word.
The Inspiration:
When my lovely friend Dee, from Decade Thirty, told me about her Calendar Wheel, and later on shared it with the world, I thought it was a fantastic idea. She had seen the idea from a post on the Moleskine website and adapted it to suit her needs. When she shared the Calendar Wheel, everyone just fell head over heels for it. It makes sense why; it's a great idea and visually fun.
I love it. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would be a great way to track things like the ever popular trackers out there, but in a circular manner. It took me a little while to share, but once I did people were super excited about it! I'm very humbled and grateful that you like the idea. I love seeing all the different variations, please be sure to tag me so I can see! :)
The Week-long Intention Wheel
Last year I shared a week version with the circles for the days of the week, and the slices for the habits. You could also inverse these if you wanted.
The Month-long Intention Wheel
Here's the version I shared a version with the wheels as the things you are tracking, and the slices as the days. I thought about this at the same time I thought about the week-long wheel, it just took me a little while to finally share it online.
Another version I thought of was the wheels as the days and the slices as the habits, which is just the extended version of the original week-long Intention Wheel I had shared.
Here's an update on the Intention Wheel so far with a sunshine theme! Filled with my favorite yellow pen, a Papermate Flair, of course! :)
