Celebrating 10 Years of Tiny Ray of Sunshine!
/Dear Sunshine,
Today marks 10 years since I created my website, Tiny Ray of Sunshine, and subsequently published the first of many articles I’ve poured my heart into. 10 years ago on September 10th, 2014 I was so excited to create this website.
What an experience this past decade has been. 10 years! A decade of my life digitally sharing experiments, lessons, trying things out, and experiencing a whole series of new things.
Much of what I have done has been out of love. The love I have of learning, curiosity, knowledge, truth, processes, creating ideas, community, understanding why people do what they do and figuring out ways to help others with ideas…and ultimately creating and sharing ideas to help others and inspire them on their way.
Whatever you create, whether it’s in a notebook or a piece of artwork or otherwise - that creation is like a mirror reflecting who you are inside. Although, it is more of an impression of what is on your mind and in your heart in that moment. It’s a bit of a time capsule, holding onto memories in ways that can be interesting, illuminating, and perhaps even heartbreaking to look back on.
In my first article I published here, I wrote, “it’s the tiny things in life that make a big difference,” and well, I hope that my work has been helpful.
I want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has listened to/read my work and understood it, implemented it, shared it, credited me, provided feedback, connected, related, and encouraged me. From comments, emails, messages, letters, calls, features, and more - the words you’ve shared have had an impact and have stayed with me. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning, dabble from time to time, or are new - thank you! Your support means a lot to me.
Sending sunshine your way,
Kim
