Welcome to week 24 of The Bullet Journal Method Book Club!
Kim’s summary:
This is a pretty straight-forward Set Up guide for your Bullet Journal from Ryder. This would be a great page to keep tabbed for future reference. Set up your Index, Future Log, Monthly Log, and Daily Log. Remember to add the last three to the Index. Optionally, if you filled it out, use your Mental Inventory to fill in your Bullet Journal. Now you’re ready to begin!
Donna’s Discussion Points:
Time to set up your Bullet Journal! Have you done this already or are you just getting started with this possible life changing habit? If you are new to the Bullet Journal system, give us a synopsis of what you expect to achieve. If you are a seasoned Bullet Journalist (Bujojitsu) please share thoughts on how the Bullet Journal has changed the way you plan and/or follow through with projects or goals.
Donna’s Action List:
Locate the blank copy of the Mental Inventory worksheet listed under files provided to you at no cost thanks to Kim Alvarez (Tiny Ray of Sunshine). This worksheet was handmade and based on the content from The Bullet Journal Method by Ryder Carroll.
The worksheet is not only helpful to the new Bullet Journalist but also to the seasoned. It helps by giving you a picture of what you would like to create or achieve. Once you have completed this worksheet you are then able to follow the optional step listed on page (119) of our reading. It would also be fun and interesting to compare your first Mental Inventory with your next one when you start on a new Bullet Journal.
My thoughts:
If you’re seasoned with Bullet Journaling, how do you set yours up when you start a new one?
Have you used the Mental Inventory in your Bullet Journal?
If you found it helpful, do you think you’ll try creating a Mental Inventory in your next Bullet Journal?
