Yellow tulips done with colored pencil. I’ve been wanting to make these into an art piece ever since I took a photo of them earlier this year. They were a Valentine’s gift from my sweetie 💛. I finally sat down yesterday and about six hours with three attempts across three different mediums later, this is the result.

This is my first attempt working with colored pencil in a long time. It’s challenging working with mainly one color and working to make it pop and give it character and shape it line by line, scribble by scribble.
