Even if you work quietly in the background and there’s constant doubt, insecurity, sadness, loneliness, or even distractions surrounding you - whether from others or your own mind. As long as you remember to take life one day at a time and do what you can with each day, eventually all those days will add up to something wonderful. 😊

Someday Eventually Things Will Make Sense

Someday eventually things will make sense. When they do, you’ll be in a completely different time than the one you were in when you were trying to figure things out. The pieces might make sense, but they’ll no longer hold the same weight that they might’ve when you really needed to understand. Take solace in knowing that what brings pain to your heart may eventually become a memory someday. The things that hurt you, will hopefully cease their grasp on your heart. The things that keep you up at night, darting in your mind, will disappear and give you a good night’s rest. One day you’ll see how much things can change, and when they do, you’ll be stronger and wiser. You’ll be able to grow through whatever it is and find the good you were looking for. Perhaps you’ll realize that it was in your capacity all along. Someday it will all end and peace will find you again.

For Friends

You’ve got a friend ❤️ I love this song. Sweet little song lyrics for all the friends out there that may need some comfort.

I wrote out the lyrics in contrasting colors to highlight my favorite parts of the song.

To all of the friends that need a little encouragement to reach out or to know that they’re cared about. In one of my last posts, there was this tender conversation in the comments about friendships and it squeezed at my heart to know how many of us are going through (or have gone through) similar sitautions in not hearing back from the ones you care about...it’s a strange and trying time for everyone. If only they would let us know how they’re doing, right? Or reach out to say hello and ask how you’re doing... One of the ways I’ve read about what this time is like is how it’s like grief that everyone is going through, such as mourning the loss of the moments one could currently be living...and grief is something everyone goes through and handles differently. And when everyone is going through it at the same time, well, it’s just an upheaval of emotions. People might be acting strangely and it makes sense when we’re all living lives either slightly differently or completely differently than we usually do.

I can offer the consolation that it’s okay to feel however you feel. Perhaps you’ll notice new things about yourself and others during this time. It’s a season we’re all going through, and all seasons lead to different seasons eventually.

Remember to check in with the ones you care about, they might be wondering why you haven’t checked in if you haven’t by now. (Not just now, but during all stages of life). But if it’s too much right now, that’s okay, too. Allow yourself to simply be and feel as you do. Perhaps write a little. I find writing lyrics that mirror how I’m feeling comforting.
